Privacy Policy for Deduce It

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Deduce It Android application, package name com.mysterybox.deduceit. By using the application, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

2. Information handled directly by Deduce It

Deduce It does not require an account, sign-in, profile, name, phone number, address, or payment information. The developer does not operate a separate backend server for collecting player profiles or game progress.

Game information such as solved cases, clue selections, logic-grid markings, tutorial status, and related progress may be stored locally on your device. This local information is used only to provide game functionality and restore your progress.

3. Advertising and third-party data processing

Deduce It uses Google AdMob to offer optional rewarded advertisements. A player may choose to watch an advertisement to reveal a liar or view a complete solution. Ordinary gameplay and checking an accusation do not require an advertisement.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect, process, and share information such as:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
• device identifiers, advertising identifiers, and app-set identifiers;
• application and advertisement interactions, including app launches, taps, ad views, and video views;
• diagnostic and performance information, including crash, launch-time, and device-performance information;
• information used for advertising, analytics, security, and fraud prevention.

Google and participating advertising partners process this information under their own terms and privacy practices. Deduce It does not sell personal information.

4. Consent and privacy choices

Deduce It uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent where required, including for eligible users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be shown options to consent, decline consent, or manage advertising choices. When Google reports that privacy options are required, Deduce It provides an in-app privacy-choices control so that you can review or change those choices later.

The type of advertisement Google can provide may depend on your consent choices, device settings, region, and ad availability. This can include personalized, non-personalized, limited, or technical ad delivery as permitted by Google and applicable law.

5. How information is used

Information handled through the app and its advertising provider may be used to:

• operate and maintain the game;
• save and restore local game progress;
• deliver optional rewarded advertisements;
• measure advertisement performance and application interactions;
• diagnose technical problems and improve reliability;
• prevent invalid traffic, abuse, and fraud;
• comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

6. Sharing of information

Locally stored puzzle progress is not intentionally transmitted to the developer's own server. Information processed by the Google Mobile Ads SDK may be shared with Google and eligible advertising partners for advertising, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud-prevention purposes, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.

Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or to protect users, the developer, or the public from harm.

7. Data retention and deletion

Local game progress remains on your device until you reset the relevant progress, clear the application's storage, or uninstall Deduce It. Because Deduce It has no user-account system or independent player database, there is no server-side game account to delete.

Information processed by Google is retained and deleted according to Google's policies and the settings applicable to its advertising services. You can reset or delete your Android advertising identifier through your device's privacy settings where that option is available.

8. Security

Deduce It limits its own storage to information required for game functionality. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is protected in transit using standard transport encryption. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Children's privacy

Deduce It is a general-audience logic game and is not specifically directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum digital-consent age in a user's country. The developer does not knowingly request personal information directly from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided information in connection with the app may contact the developer using the address below.

10. International processing

Google and its advertising partners may process information in countries other than the country in which you live. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy policies, contractual safeguards, and applicable data-protection law.

11. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application's features, advertising services, legal requirements, or data practices change. The revised policy will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be changed.
